Our
Hand Carved Log Bear Chair is
made in traditional spindle
design from lodge pole pine from the mountains
of Colorado. There is
a hand carved bear on every corner post
of the chair. Each bear is painted
to accentuate the fine details of the
carving. The chair is assembled
using mortise and tenon joinery that
provides a solid and secure feeling when
you sit down. The lodge pole pine
is sealed with a satin lacquer finish
to give years of protection and the upholstery
grade "woodland" fabric makes
everything about this chair come together. The
dimensions are measured outside to outside,
and may vary due to log size. The
corner posts are made with 5" -
6" logs. Matching love seat
is also available.
