Northern White Cedar
is the superior choice for furniture because
of its beauty, practicality, and durability. The
Northern White Cedar used in our furniture is a creamy white color
that weathers gracefully to a silvery gray when left out in the
sun. All rustic cedar items may be used indoors or out, and
may be painted or stained as desired.
Cedar is a very light
wood and easy to work with. It
is air dried (seasoned) for 90 days and then kiln dried. This
process ensures that it will not shrink or warp as do many other
woods commonly used for furniture. This process also minimizes
any further checking after you receive
your furniture. Because of the care in the way that our furniture
is made, each piece of furniture comes with a five year warranty against
any structural defects - something that is not found with most
other log furniture manufacturers!
