OUR ORDERING, SHIPPING, RETURN, AND PRIVACY POLICIES
ORDERING: We accept VISA, MASTERCARD , DISCOVER, and AMERICAN EXPRESS. You can order several ways:
Secure online shopping cart. All credit card transactions are encrypted and cannot be monitored by a third party.
By telephone. Our business hours are Monday-Friday 9 am - 5pm CST. Call us at 1-877-884-0248
By mail. Make checks or money orders payable to: THE CABIN PLACE, Box 696, Grand Rapids, MN 55744
Please note: A signature is normally required at time of delivery to ensure that your order is received by the appropriate party. Please note that products can not be shipped to a P.O. Box or General Delivery address.
SHIPPING: Items normally ship in the within the times specified on the individual products page. Items that are out of stock are backordered and will be shipped immediately upon it's arrival in our warehouse. Orders over $200.00 will be shipped for free unless noted for a particular item. An additional surcharge will be added to standard sized orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Items are delivered to your door (or curbside if shipped by freight company). Prices and delivery charges do not include uncrating, delivery inside your building, set up, or assembly.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: The Cabin Place does not ship to locations outside of the United States.
RETURN POLICY: At The Cabin Place, your satisfaction comes first. Items may be returned for any reason within 30 days of delivery. You may return any item for an exchange, refund, or credit to your credit card account less shipping and handling charges. You must call for a "return authorization" before returning any merchandise. Merchandise without a return authorization, will be refused and no credit given. Do not send merchandise to our mailing address - a return address will be given to you when you call for your "return authorization number". Items without all original packing materials, law tags, ect. will not be accepted. Customized furniture, customized metal art, and special order items can be returned, but will be charged a 25% restocking fee. If a returned item qualified for free shipping, the shipping & handling cost from The Cabin Place to the destination will be deducted from the refund. Health regulations do not permit us to accept open packages of sheets, pillowcases, or other bedding for credit or refund. For policies concerning rustic ironworks lighting, please click here.
CANCELED ORDERS: Orders may be cancelled with in 24 hours of placing the order (please keep in mind that some items ship with in 24 hours or less). Once the order is shipped, it is the responsibility of the customer to return the merchandise for a refund. A 3% fee may be charged for any canceled order beyond 24 hours. The purpose of this fee is to recover processing costs and bank charge fees related to the transaction. This fee will not apply to any returned merchandise
DAMAGED ITEMS IN TRANSIT: Carefully examine package for any visual damage. If damage is noticed, do not accept or sign for the merchandise. Request damage notification slip from shipper and notify The Cabin Place immediately. If damage is concealed, notify The Cabin Place with in 24 hours of receiving the merchandise.
PRIVACY: We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process your orders and to contact you if necessary. We do not rent, sell, or trade your personal information to others. We want you to be assured that your personal information is kept confidential whether asking for information or placing an order. When you order, we ask that you provide the information necessary to process your order. We need your name, email address, mailing address, delivery address, home and work phone numbers, and credit card number with expiration date. This way, we can process your order expediently and keep you updated concerning its status.
