Barn Raising Quilts are a
traditional favorite, composed of
squares made from strips of fabric
in light and dark shades. The pale
gold's and olive-tans are arranged
opposite the deep shades of black,
brown, olive and burgundy to form
radiating diamonds known as the
"barn raising" pattern. The edge is
finished with dark olive-tan prairie
points. The overall effect is rich,
warm and inviting. The reverse is in
a deep gold and brown print.
