Barn Raising Pine Cone quilts is a pattern based on a traditional favorite with richly embroidered pine cones added.  It is composed of squares made from strips of fabric in light and dark shades. The pale gold's and olive-tans are arranged opposite the deep shades of black, brown, olive and burgundy to form radiating diamonds known as the "Barn Raising" pattern. The edge is finished with dark olive-tan prairie points. The overall effect is rich, warm and inviting. The reverse is in a deep gold and brown print.
