It is made from lodge pole pine found in the rocky mountains and each log is handpicked to complement the character of the bear. Some cracking (checking) and knots (called birthmarks) are naturally found in log carvings adding to the bear's uniqueness. Each bear comes with care instructions for outdoor use.
